Hi Everyone!

it seems to be a roman imperial coin with a beautiful mixture of green and brown patination but I cant seem to identify it! the bust seems to be Antoninus Pious but what baffles me is the seated jupiter ...and even more so the greek styled inscription! Unfortunately, as a cynical person, I have reasons to believe this is fake hahaha!

Any help would be highly appreciated ! Thank you !!

Your coin appears to be a Roman Provincial of the emperor Marcus Aurelius from Cyrrhus in Syria. Reference SBGBr 660. The coin is real.

The patina doesn't make one coin of the same type rarer than another without it. The patina depends on the type of environment the coin was found in.

While most of the legend is missing, the obverse and reverse details are very good and the emperor and type can be identified. I would say the coin is within the $30-$50 range.
