The title says it all. Despite this being in modern coins, I am not necessarily looking for modern coins to buy. I'm not looking for bullion, and am hoping to stick with U.S coins. Suggestions?

(P.s: my price limit is $50)

How about a nice higher graded slab Peace dollar. Just picked up a 1923P in MS-65 and was amazed by how clear it looks as compared to my other "worn out" ones!

I would go with a nice Franklin proof or as crazyb mentioned a nice well struck Peace dollar.
Perhaps a nice Morgan.

I also vote for the Ike dollar. They're cheaper and a short set.

I can't get away from Half Dollars, especially Walkers in MS60 or better. Just like the look of 'em.
That is despite the fact that my first love in numismatics is ancients.
