Is It Possible That These 1895 & 1883 Half Eagles Are Proofs?

The surfaces are not close to looking like Proofs or even P-L. I wish I had a photo to show you, but I have only one old Proof gold coin in my collection, and it's a gold dollar. I sold a couple when I was dealer, but unfortunagely I didn't grab pictures. Here's the gold dollar. And here is an 1882 gold dollar which is a Proof-Like, not a Proof. Report this Post to the Staff
