Hello all,

Please help me out grading on this one. Also, I'm 99% sure this coin is real, but I'd appreciate it if you could check on the authenticity as well. Thanks!

low MS details...some contact scratches...other wise an attractive gold piece
unable to authenticate...send for third party determination.

Agree AU-58, but scratch across jaw really detracts.

I don't think that it is genuine, but it is, it will never get a grade from the top TPGs. The surfaces have a semi P-L look to them which is not normal on an Indian quarter eagle. These coins have a more frosty luster. The chip or whatever it is on the first "A" in "AMERICA" is not something that you see ver often on these coins.

It has three bad marks on the obvere, the long scratch, the messed up cheek and a mark in front of the Indian's nose. This is also a rim bump under the date.

Here is a genunine example.
