4 Digit Radars, Do I Keep Them Or Let Them Go?

North of 49 Pillar of the Community Canada 611 Posts	Posted 05/26/2017 7:16 pm I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who checks the serial numbers of any bank notes they may get for radars etc. I've been doing this for a while now and so as a result I have a small collection of 4 digit radar notes. I've recently decided to thin the herd a bit. I've decided to keep older notes and 3 digits and better, but the question is , is it worth while keeping 4 digit radars or should I just release them back into circulation? If they're UNC ... you can sell them and get about a 15% premium As those look to me like newer prefixes. If they're not UNC's I'd say you're either going to have to sit on those awhile or just keep in your own collection until you get a good UNC example.. With anything newer than the '80's bird series I only keep a note if it has some type of interesting serial number or its a replacement Report this Post to the Staff
