Oh I didn't buy it from a seller, I found it while cleaning out old furniture. Again, the only reason I even thought to posit the question is because I come from a family of medieval Spanish historians. The coin could've easily come from a souvenir stand selling cast-copies, but it could've also been obtained under more historical means. Do you reckon its worth taking to a coin person to check the metallurgical content, or is the seam enough to determine it a fake? Again, as I said, I was just planning on using it as a fancy paperweight anyways. I was just mostly curious.
