Hi again,
So this is one of the coins that popped out at me at work. I noticed it in my till. Did some internet searching and found that it could be a proof. Is this true? Looks like a 1979 - S Mint Washington quarter Proof.

to CCF. It is a proof. When found in circulation it is called an impaired proof. They made two types that year,can you tell us which type you have?

From what I can tell, it is the S mark is filled in. Also it was found in circulation so it is an impaired proof.

I believe it is a type one. Filled "S". The S is not clearly marked..
