hi my dad found this coin metal detecting in wales yesterday and we have been looking to find out what it is with no luck so far if anyone could help please its diameter is 30mm and the same both sides.

It could be a love token. When you google the term, similar designs pop up.

I think most love tokens are personalized, so you may have a unique one that won't turn up an exact match when searched.

Koinz, I disagree. Most love tokens were individually carved. OPs coin is stamped. If both sides same, a token it is, gaming or machine operating, don't know. Not a coin, value is slight unless has a rareness to it.

Not old enough to be a jeton, production seems 19th/20th century manufacture.

Certainly not a love token.

Looks likes some sort of modern token.

A generic British machine token, made to the same size as the old 1d.
