How many of you believe that silver price will go up again? I really want to sell some of my 40%. Should I hold for a while?

Looking at the daily chart, it appears silver may continue the decline to the 200 day moving average which at the moment is $15.32. Somewhere in that vicinity it should bounce and continue the uptrend. That is my opinion of the chart. nlp http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$S...p97363793683

My thinking is its going to stay pretty much the same for a few months. Once the effects of the stimulus package are finsihed (sometime around July/August I would thinks) it will start moving up again, with $30+ an ounce in sight by year end.
This is just my opinion however....im just an amatuer at this whole economist thing. Check out what the pros over at lewrockwell.com have to say about it--they tend to be pretty close to the mark with these things.

Generally, stock market down, metals go up and vice-versa. Stocks are recovering with much of the subprime mess behind it, and you can see the effect it has had on the metals. It might be quite a while before you can get $60 for that roll of 1967 Kennedy's. Unless you need the money desperately, I'd say hold off and keep hoarding.

Back up...to over $21? dunno. My own opinion is it will bounce around for a while, with an overall downward trend. I think the speculators have found something new to flush liquidity into. (not investment advice ) trends, schmends

Hi guys...I have a question: I have a few pounds of silver contacts I've been popping off with a hammer/chisel, and some I've been sweating off with a torch. I've got quite a bit left to remove from their copper armatures (like multiple thousands)...wondering what kind of window I'm looking at to sell during the high...should I wait and take a chance while I keep working on removing the contact pads and sell it all then, or should I sell what I've removed already while the gettin's good? Your opinions will be much appreciated!

I went to coin show and sold some of my 40% JFK at $45.5 per roll. I bought a 1970-D Half for $10. Also bought a 1956 type B quarter for $7. Very happy day!

In answer to the silver going up question, another variable is the price of ths U.S. dollar. If it keeps declining the price of Silver should stay in it's current range. If it turns...(which I don't know) then the price of silver can more downward. Anothervariable is the use of Silver in the BRIC countries. If their economies slow then demand slows, then a downward trend in silver is inevitable.

Very sad if true, because who will feel the speculative price pressure the most? The already malnourished of developing nations.
