Think nice, think borderine XF, think surfaces somewhat suspect, that's what think.

This is a tough coin to grade. I would place it between VG and F. All hairlines should be sharp for the XF grade and I can't see all these on the forehead or the top of the head (https://www.coincommunity.com/us_la...ron_head.asp . Depending on what this coin looks like in hand, it might grade to F. Looking at the abrasion behind the eye, the spotting on the front and back, and some porous areas, I might drop it to VG.

Nice coin!
Rest in Peace

Based on the pictures I agree with F-15.

In hand it may look a bit better and might make VF-20.

The corrosion hurts this coin and most likely puts it at about F-12. The other thing you want to look at (and this is most likely the corrosion) and that is the beads in the hair cord where they are not distinct and wear on the hair at the top, by the ear and the neck. If it was not for the corrosion it would be a little higher grade. The saving grace is the reverse, the leaves and berries are flat but the text and outer edge and rim have almost full detail.
