Will seeing the other side of the coin help at all? Are there any markers?

A picture of the whole coin would have been nice but
from what I see, it is a far six.

FYI-
When looking at the six, go by the distance from the bottom
of the six to the rim.
It is too easy to take a near six and file off the tip
of the six to make it look like a far six.

Thank you JimmyD - very helpful. This particular coin is not in best shape and I really just needed a 2nd opinion. I looked at the other side of this coin and it was not at all helping me.

I compare the gaps between the 9/2, 2/6 & 6/leaf. On a far 6 they are almost all the same. On a near 6, the 9/2 gap is les than the 2/6 gap and the 6/leaf is much narrower. They can do all the trimming on the tip of the 6, but the gaps of the digits themselves will always remain.

Agree Far 6. The Near 6 just looks awkwardly spaced at first glance.
