Hi guys-

In the process of digging through some of my "cool' stuff I found this coin.

Yes it is a Constantine but it is a bit special. Maybe you can figure it out.

I found a real close example on Wildwinds- look close- not the same.

Why is the XII on this coin? Does Denarii Communes ring a bell?

17mm and 1.8 grams

Interesting find. I only thought these were seen only on Diocletion reform coinage. Which I guess this would also fall under. Very nice.

It is a half follis of Constantine,dated 312/313 , RICVI,355-358,depending of the bust . The same period,there was also another half follis coin , with X VI (RICVI,359/360) , so I think it is a mark . albert
