It looks like (through a scope) a man with a hat (could be Chinese hat or Army Hat) and on the flip it looks like a badge. I'm sure I can read initials but they could just be age..

Working on Whitman Large Cent date set album 1793-1857 (57 holes filled of 64 total) now come the "toughies" - yikes!
