Victor Pillar of the Community United States 917 Posts	Posted 05/27/2008 4:31 pm Are you sure that it is gold and not bronze? From the picture it looks very similar to bronze. As to why it was not cast in silver, I can't answer why. Maybe it was not intended to deceive, but was made as a souvenir. Report this Post to the Staff

You can be sure it is fake because the details are soft-- the reverse is really soft. I also seem to see casting bubbles on the surface of the coin.
