Looks like this Etsy seller has nothing but poor quality fakes. They state it outright on some of their ancient coin listings but do not on their U.S. coinage. Hopefully not many collectors think they are actually going to get a legit Trade dollar in VF for the low, low price of $54.95.

Anyone know if these listings are against Etsy's rules and can be reported?

Tried many months ago, they don't even acknowledge a report at all.

Terrible site. Hopefully it will catch up with them.

Grrrrr.... Reported this to Etsy for whatever that's worth and contacted the seller saying the listing needs to be removed or she/he would be hearing from the feds. This probably isn't a solution but I feel better.

I stopped even considering them. A waste of time.

It wasn't until recently that I noticed etsy ads popping up on google queries for coins I'm searching for.

Sounds like a real fine company. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/etsy.html

If I'm not mistaken, I asked Etsy once about consigning some coins. They told me their commission was 50%. That ended that.
