Sadly, I couldn't find this particular type - mostly because I can't read the date (it probably should be at 10 o'clock in the first pic). EDIT: I found a probable match - Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) mint, 1623-25. Compare this drawing on Fortress Catalogue. Report this Post to the Staff

Probably from a different mint, the mint mark looks like a six pointed star (possibly over something worn away). Not in Krause, although if you read the description the 3-shield form is mentioned for earlier years. (I'm not sure how they call KM 4 one type when the description says "Crown above two or three shields". Surely changing the number of shields means it is a different type.) You're just getting confused because of the different legend break - the drawing has DGR(mintmark)POL, and your coin has DG(mintmark)RPOL Report this Post to the Staff
