I found this $5 bill. just want to know what caused this. the back is smaller and out of alignment with the front. these are scaned images...I know they'er bad

Not unusual, just a poorly centered reverse - happens frequently. Generally speaking, there is no added value unless some part of the design is missing.

Poorly aligned, agreed.

Back is smaller, This is standard for US Currency. Hold a note up to a light, and the back is traditionally smaller than the front printing. Graders look at this when evaluating the notes registration.
