Hi everyone,
I think I may have found my first clip of a nickel in a roll this last week. I feel like I see the Blakesley Effect on the obverse at 1 o'clock by "LIB" in Liberty.

I've taken a obverse and reverse shot. Curious to everyone's thoughts.

Thanks!

I do see it. It is the real deal. Look at the rim edge. See how it is very narrow around the coin? Note the area of LIB on LIBERTY. You can see id widen in that area. What is what you look for. The rim is weak because the upset process was weaker because of the clipped area. So this is a incomplete planchet error. (Same thing on the reverse, the Blakesley affect is seen on the 'AM' on AMERICA area. Note how it widens on the rim in that area.

It's a real clipped planchet. Nice find.

Sometimes it more obvious, other times you have to look a second time.
