Hi y'all from Glendale, AZ. Never have I dreamed of collecting coins... until a bag of foreign/domestic coins ended up in my lap. I think I spent about 5hrs./daily for at least 2wks. straight trying to figure out where half of them originated from. In foreign coins; I had from Korean to Pakistan and everything in between. The domestic coins ranged from Indian Heads to coin dollars. All those coins awakened my subconscious and soon my dreams where that about coins. I did my research on the basics including the history behind them. I was like a sponge. Then...then came the topic I had innocently overlooked: Coin Errors. Wow what an amazing field. I was and still am in heaven when it comes to coin errors. I find myself most interested in pennies, nickels, quarters, and dimes. I no longer give the exact amount due when purchasing anything. I want the change back. It's exhausting but I look at my change now.
I am also a junkie, but a bit different. Perhaps two thirds of my collection has come by hand picking cherries across the whole of numismatics, from dealers' junk boxes. Works out to about 50 coins per year.
Here is your chance to be a CCF junkie, by posting often.
