Does Canada even have jails? If they caught the crooks, what would they do with them?  Sounds like one mint employee won't be drawing his retirement, oh yea, he just did!

Interesting the 2 kg of gold is a "small" amount. I think the value of the article is too high as well. The only way to kilograms would be around $110,000 would be if gold was valued around $1700 an ounce. Of course I haven't checked into it but if you figure in exchange rate value between Canadian and U. S. that might be possible.

That person a real derp why would you take gold bars and not realise they would check their inventory from time to time. I mean do you even work there....
