I am not that familiar with the Capped Bust Quarter but I have noticed a few issues and wanted to get peoples thought on this coin. The nails on the left claw are touching where other nail claws are pointing down? Another thing is that there is no dot after the 25 C? Is this a fake? or just a variety of the 1834?

Can't really see what you mean about the feathers, but as far as the dot goes, I checked the photos of several TPG graded coins, and it is missing in those too.

1834 B-1 The two Pale gules reverse (Red stripes in the shield made up of two lines instead of three) This is the only reverse in the bust quarter series with two pale gules. It was used on 1833 B-2 and 1834 B-1. Tip of the stem over the edge of the serif of the C, no dot after C. The left claws were recut making them closed, there are just traces of the earlier open claws. The die is not known with open claws though.
