Booooyaaahhh! I've never seen one of these since I've been a member. Great choice! The capped bust thread is older but it never really ended.

Being a Type Collector, I can throw a few of these out there for folks to gawk at. The series is a broad, encompassing set; half dimes, Dimes, Twenty Cent, Quarters, Half Dollars and Dollars. No stars (OBV), stars (OBV), Arrows & Rays (OBV & REV), legend (OBV), with motto (REV) and arrows (OBV). No drapery, partial drapery and (full) drapery. And lots of varieties and patterns. This should be an interesting thread.

I had posted this in the "most recent coin purchases" thread just a few days ago but suppose it's OK to post it again here:

you can repost this beauty anytime anywhere and anyhow you see fit

that's an advanced collector coin

almost forgot my half dime

I've posted this for years on the CCF and can't seem to get a consensus on the cause of the reverse damage
mint damage?
PMD as a result of someone trying to solder a clip to make a cuff link?

note the retained cud on the reverse in (A)MERICA
