Looking at this 3cent silver coin to purchase. What would you grade and value this coin?

Again very attractive. The ends of the reverse moon seem to be missing the protruding fins that accompany mint state examples of this issue. I will say 55-58 again on this one.
Rest in Peace

So many of these were poorly struck that photos only for grading is difficult. For example, you have two broken lines around the star on the obverse.

Is that from circulation, or weak strike.

The only way to know for sure is examine the luster liquidity as it flows when the coin is tilted.

That's something we can't do with those photos.

I'd still guess 58.

I'll take a pass - pics just not sharp enough to grade from.

Definitely potato quality photos... but

The reverse is filled in enought for me to discount strike. Touch of wear on the diamond.

There is wear on the star at the lines at K8, K10 and K12 plus the center of the shield lines.

Can't give an accurate grade from these pics, but somewhere in the XF or AU range.
