I bought this large cent for what I thought to be a steal of a price: $12.50. Opinions?

The corrosion at 3 o'clock probably pitted the surface which would render it as a details coin.

However, it appears to have survived as a Fine condition with that exception.

In all it was a fair price.

OK but that spot is disturbing, looks like verdigris(bronze disease) not fully removed which will eventually trash that coin. Don't think I would have paid by $8 for it.

Vf details corroded. Looks like a fair price for an attractive coin to me.
