Wow, obviously not errors, just PMD. The seller must not be knowledgeable about error coins or is trying to fool someone.

Ya know, I used to give sellers like this a courtesy email, cleaning in short that coins like this aren't mint errors. I'd then invite them to either contact me directly for assistance or to check out places like CCF instead of relying on a u-2ed video. I will still do so occasionally, but it is indeed a fool's errand, after receiving brush-off responses(if any) or very derogatory expletives, realized the uselessness of that venture.
My point here is, there is an element of people, that you will never change their mind. It will make your life a lot less stressful and much happier to realize that and refrain from complaining about it! If you can't be part of a solution, then don't further exacerbate the problem. I need to practice more myself!

Crazyb0, The same for me, I gave up trying long ago, it was after my last effort to educate someone and instead I got a fistful of nasty derogatory comments in return! But if at least these posts help raise awareness of some of our Forum's new comers and prevent's them from falling victims to these garbage products I will be happy.

Wow, that's one dumb seller lol! Another example of how much garbage gets listed on ebay! Luckily, the listings that you posted have been taken down.
Errers and Varietys.

Quote: my last effort to educate someone Same here, I emailed a seller last week, his photos did not match his item description. He emailed me back wanting an education. I sent him a website link for him to read and educate himself.

Looks like the coins David Blaine would put in his mouth and chew.

Maybe someone ran these over with the coin cart at the mint. If they didn't leave the mint maybe they could be considered uncirculated.

I think you guys are being a little harsh. It looks like some serious effort went into making coins look that bad ( ). It's worth something in entertainment value alone! Entertainment for us, that is.

Maybe it REALLY IS a mint error. Maybe this guy had something to do with it, he does have a hammer and tools!
