I apologize in advance for the noob question. But this coin seems pretty far from MS-65, just glancing at the crappy picture of the obverse. Looks like it may have been cleaned or retoned as well.
What do you guys think?

Scam Seller.

Coin is no where near 65 and would probably have a tough shot trying to make AU.

Notice the Seller never mentions the grade or the grading company?

Unless eBay has recently changed their listing rules there is nothing "improper" about this item. I feel this type of listing is unethical and should not be allowed.

eBay does have rules against this kind of listing: "If a coin isn't graded by one of these grading companies [NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG], it's considered raw and must meet the requirements for raw coin listings. A coin graded by a non-approved grading company can be listed, but the numeric grade can't be included in the title, description, or item specifics. You can't include an image of the coin in its graded holder if that image shows a grade that is not completely obscured and unreadable on the photo."

Working on: Peace dollars (two to go), US type (early Bust era), Indian quarter eagles, Chinese pandas, and San Francisco tokens.

This scum bag is definitely breaking the rules. Bobby needs to get all his listings nuked. An 1896-O Morgan graded MS65 is a high six figure coin and the one in the link is a cleaned AU coin worth maybe $50. Some schmuck is probably going to pay way more than it's actually worth while thinking they stole it.

edit - Bobby is already on it,,,
