Is this doubled dies or plating split doubling esp on the left side of L and I's inbetween I...can someone help and explain if this is an error or not please. All your inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's a very common split plating issue seen on 80s Lincoln zinc cents.

I don't see split plating in the pics. That would show the gray color of the zinc core. I think this is die deterioration doubling. Note that the effect gets more pronounced as it moves toward the rim. That means that metal flow and subsequent die wear are the culprits. This can also happen with split plating, but I don't see the split.
