It is about 14 grams and 19 mm x 21 mm

It looks like a transitional style Athenian owl Tetradrachm. I cannot say whether it is real or not however.

Not roman, but copying an Athenian owl tetradrachm. I think this might be the bronze core of an ancient counterfeit, possibly of Near Eastern origin, based on the portrait.
