Hello,
Before all I'm sorry if I'm writing in the wrong place, but since I don't understand anything about US coins (I'm Portuguese) I couldn't guide myself better.
It happens I got the coin in the pictures from my grandmother in law.
Does it seem legit or fake? I quite like it anyway, it's a darn beautiful coin.
Thank you all,

hey!I'm feeling very welcome!
Thank you all for your opinion.
Now i'll just try to know how did that coin got here in Portugal. It must be a family story, since that my grandmother in law probabily didn't buy it and has never been in US, neither her parents.
I'm not a coin colector, I collect objects (coins the most) that tell some story.
For example, my grandfather before building his house had the take down the one that was already there. Inside the walls there was a gold coin from the 17th century. That tells people, that lived there, were trying not to pay taxes.

In 1933 President Roosevelt issued an Executive Order, which made gold ownershipóboth in coins and in barsóillegal for all Americans and punishable by up to ten years in prison. The wealthy Americans to protect their gold from the US Government sent it to the European Banks. The $20 Saints were sent by the bag full to Europe. It is possible your coin came from the coins sent to Europe.

The gold ownership law is no longer on the books and in recent years bags full of $20 Saints have returned to the US for grading and sold to collectors.

Looks good. What is the weight in grams?
