How can I be more specific with questions if I don't know what to ask? I just started coin searching YESTERDAY!

I could ramble on for an hour about this 1943S Lincoln Cent & not answer your question (scratch that since one wasn't asked). Why is this coin gray instead of brown like my other pennies? Why is the 4 in the date missing? These are specific questions. When specific questions are asked, it makes it easier for the person trying to help you to get the information to you.
