My grandparents started me on coin collecting nearly 60 years ago, lost interest but here I am nearly 60 years later with a bunch of coins I've either collected or inherited from both my family and my wife's family.
I've been a major stamp collector and work on Clocks and Watches as a hobby but always looking for new challenges, to keep the rusty rake in shape, so I would like to get my coins in order before they either get inherited or sold by the next generation.
I am a McKinney native but left a long time ago. I go back every once in a while. Actually was there on Monday to pick up some Hutchins BBQ. I'm so old that I remember when the forerunner to Hutchins, Kings of BBQ, was located a couple of miles North of McKinney in a grove of pecan trees on the east side of Hwy 75 (now Hwy 5). I m pretty sure ol' man Hutchins honed his BBQ skills working for Jody and Mary King back in the 60's!
