esad58 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 01/03/2019 2:50 pm Hello I live in New Jersey and North Carolina and I've been a coin collector for just over 50 years. Primarily, I collect US coins, from 1958 (my birth year) onward, though I do have older coins as well as some foreign. I do not collect gold, paltinum, or paladium - just a bit too rich for my blood. I also don't buy slabbed coins - no good reason why I don't, but I primarily stick to coins issued and packaged by the US Mint. As a kid, I started with circulating coins, and this is what I like the most - going through pocket change, putting the coins in my albums, and marking them off of my "want list". Thanks all!
