On close inspection, blowing up the photo, the letters look like from a fine strike, the die might have been worn in places. It is clean of any incrustation but the porous metal is not uncommon for others of this ruler. In my opinion it is a real coin. No concerns.

At first the color does seem more like zinc, but then I thought perhaps that also means our friend in Brazil is quite ill and is very off color. So I corrected his skin color and the coin changed as you see below. Hope that is not a problem, I am not saying having a blue skin color is not a good look on someone. But it does suggest some disease conditions and I'd rather just think his lighting for the photo was off.

It seems the coin is ex Numismatik Naumann (Gitbud & Naumann), Auction 35, 2015, lot 689. Provenance doesn't prove that a coin is genuine but finding it in an auction record is certainly better than finding it in a fake report. https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=2594979
