WOW! Great coins! Thanks for posting them....Lincoln fix...I'm feeling much better. LOL

The pics are a bit small and the light is such that they almost look cleaned and retoned, but I can tell they're not. After taking hundreds of Lincoln photos I know what light can do.

The 11S looks to be VF30-35, it may slide to EF40 in-hand. The 14D is nearly identical! It looks authentic to me. It's a very, very clean 14D with good strike. The wheatlines look like they are all present with just a slight rub. The obverse die seems to be at later stage than the reverse because the reverse wear is lighter than it should be based on the obverse. I'd like to see better pics, it's a beautiful coin!

Now....my grade...lol

I would pay EF45 cash for this coin because of the rarity, cleaniness and nice strike. I don't think it will hit that with PCGS, more likely VF35-EF40...but that's a sweet coin. Congrats!

Thanks. I bought these from Harlan J.Berk

http://www.harlanjberk.com/

Their grades they listed them as were 11S is VF35 and 14D is VF25 but I did not agree. I was thinking higher as well.

I use HJB all the time and trust me on this, they do not poorly grade coins. Their coin grades are almost always dead on. Still, a beautiful 14D. Great purchase. Congrats.

Do you have the coins yet? Can you take a better pic of the 14D? All the wheat lines look to be present from that small picture. The seed wear looks more like higher VF to EF to me....but I could be wrong. A coin of this rarity really needs to be graded in-hand.

The 14D looks like it has more wear on the wheat lines, and more wear on lincoln's head. Just my opinion. That's why I graded a little lower.

EF40 for the 11-S, VF30 for the 14-D.
