Hello new here I found a dime in my change jar that I think is an error any help or input is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a Trump hair do. LOL Coin is damaged. One way to make a coin look different is to damage it.

To CCF! Didn't leave the U.S. Mint like that. It's just a heavily damaged Dime. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD), and it's now only worth face value.

Someone really didn't like that coin. Still PSD (Post-Stike-Damage) Not a mint error. A coin murderer got a hold of it.
