According to Coop, this isn't such a good thing on a semi key date.

Edits:
Looking at the above image, I noticed some ghosting of Lincoln's profile on the reverse, and it appeared rotated. Sure enough, it is a slightly rotated die. I went about trying to identify the angle. I googled a way to measure coin angles and found a DIY protractor that someone had posted here a while back, but that has been taken down, and I happened upon a patent application for said device, so I guess he decided to try and patent.

Anyway, I placed the coin in a trimmed down 2x2 with a cut on each side to establish a common line for obverse and reverse. Then I used the gridlines on my camera to align to the cut. I took pictures (actually screen captures to capture the gridlines, so everything is low res) of both sides and created a montage.

Finally, I placed a ruler line in photoshop (my pS skills are extremely rudimentary, so another screenshot) and PS gave me a measurement angle of -75.26 for the drawn ruler line.

So, based on what I've drawn, I'm showing a die rotation of roughly 15 degrees. I'm sure the orientation is less than perfect, but it is the best I could manage this morning.

It won't impact grade, just eye appeal and subsequently sale price.

@Jadey

Some people like lams. I happen to know that coop likes EDS coins only, so he should be classified as a "tough customer." I don't think the lam diminishes the value of that semi-key. It makes it more interesting to me.

Definitely a negative on a semi-key like this.

Not a very eye appealing lam in my opinion . Would rather have my 24-D without distractions .

The lamination looks to be mostly retained, that's cool. But it hurts, it's an important date and the lam is very prominent and distracting. However, it does make for a very rare lamination. LOL
