I'm very New to coin collecting and wasn't sure about this so I thought i'd ask the experts. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

to CCF. If you are thinking it is the copper small date it is not,sorry. It is a large date.

I agree with John that it is a large date.
(You would need to include the weight of the coin to differentiate between copper or zinc.)

Thuus particular coin weighs 3.1 and I have another that weighs 2.5 but it's a different color red

3.1 is copper and 2.5 is copper plated zinc core.
