Hi all,

I'm going through my collection that has built up over many years, and found hundreds of coins in the following date ranges that I used to keep. There are maybe a few in MS condition, otherwise all are well circulated. None of these have much value above face value currently, but do you foresee these rising in value over the next 5-10+ years?

Pennies: 1959 - 1969
Nickels: 1940 - 1969 (excluding 1942 - 1945 wartime silver, those I keep separate)
Dimes: 1965 - 1969
Quarters: 1965 - 1969

Additionally, I could probably fill out quite a few date/mint range books for these years, especially in pennies and nickels. Do filled out books for these date ranges sell for any sort of premium?

Thanks in advance!

To CCF , The coins and dates that you mention aren't worth much above face value UNLESS they are in high MS condition , 66-68 .

Agree. Without pics, it's impossible to even generalize.

They won't rise in your lifetime, sadly. A 1970 quarter will still be worth a quarter in 2119.

Although I'd keep MS coins just due to the fact they are still in good condition.

Nickels dated between 1942 and 1945 are part silver and can be easily identified by a large mint mark on the reverse. I'd save those just because they're silver

Only a 1950-D nickel would be worth much.
