2005 P Bison Nickel *warning: Photo May Offend Some Viewers*

We opened a FRESH roll of Buffalo nickels a few minutes ago and found a...well...a Buffalo nickel. However, this Bison appears to be...hmmm....different... With thanks to Lim, we can post these pictures. There is a warning on this thread because the picture CAN be taken the wrong way if viewed at different angles. (To be blunt, it appears as though the Bison is using the facilities...) Anyways, with the Moderator's advice, I have added the warning in the title for that purpose. Thanks for looking and I hope someone can be of assistance. The details: This is a 2005-P Bison Nickel. On the reverse, behind the Bison...on the word "UNITED" there are several pieces of metal that are raised from the planchet. There are no scratches near this rise. Semantics because they are actually the same thing - a die break...but the term Cud is used for edge die breaks. Report this Post to the Staff
