Collector159 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/20/2019 11:33 pm Hi everyone this is my first post here I recently bought a Mexico Philip II 4 Reales Cob, it came from a reputable seller, but when I received it I noticed there is peeling and 2 nobs on the edge , but I cant tell if its from being in jewelry or from being casted. Collector159 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/24/2019 4:57 pm Thanks everyone. I have discussed this coin with a few people and realized it is authentic, ex jewelry. The metal 'nob' on the edge is of a different type (soldering) and the surface peeling occurs exactly where tape was (and some still is). There is die-engraved scribing in the field behind a few of the letters... the overall smooth look is probably from wear as a jewelry piece. Thanks for looking Report this Post to the Staff
