Hey everyone! Decided to join this forum upon finding an unusual error on a 1952 D Jefferson nickel within my collection. It may not be completely uncommon for such a promenant letter to show up in a random spot, yet the placement of this one on the nose, like you'll see, I think might be pretty lucky.

There are other faint letters also visible with a 10X magnifyer and an RPM on the reverse.

Anyway, I'll post the pics and see what any of you might have to say about it.

And thanks ahead of time to anyone who tries to help me figure out a likely value for a coin like this. Maybe best case scenario and least I might value it at?

To CCF! I'm sorry to say this, but this isn't an error coin. The nose shows pushed over and flattened metal, from taking a well placed hit. Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

I can certainly see why you would ask. Keep searching. We have folks report neat finds here almost every day.
