1927 Wheat Penny Mint Error On Reverse?

It's missing a few letters from the phrase "United States Of America" and I was wondering if someone could help confirm if it's a real mint error or just post mint damage. Second, when I enlarge and enhance your pic, it certainly looks like there was some grease in the die that struck your coin. A better close-up could help confirm.
