This rolled out of a bag when I was cleaning my wheats out today. The reverse is for sure a PO01, but I'm no grader so I'm not sure about the obverse. It doesn't look to be cleaned, so that's a Plus. I also find it interesting that this 40's wheat is more worn than most of my 30's and 20's! Let me know what you think!

Thanks! And if anyone reading this has a PO01 Lincoln in a slab and could upload a picture of it, that would be very useful. I can't find an image of a slabbed PO01 Lincoln anywhere.

I think those hits by the O on the reverse would have prevented it from a straight grade, anyway.

Agree FR-02, but that's a most unusual coin for sure.

There probably aren't any pictures anywhere. PCGS only has 2 PO 1 wheat backs, a 1909 P VDB and a 1915 P

Wow! Only two!

Those are pretty rare then, must be worth a lot of money.

I don't have the slightest clue what they would go for. Judging from the population reports lowball Lincoln collecting seems to be a rather niche area which makes sense. It's generally more popular with series that didn't really circulate much not a workhorse one.
