This rolled out of a bag when I was cleaning my wheats out today. The reverse is for sure a PO01, but I'm no grader so I'm not sure about the obverse. It doesn't look to be cleaned, so that's a Plus. I also find it interesting that this 40's wheat is more worn than most of my 30's and 20's! Let me know what you think! -CH27 Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

Thanks! And if anyone reading this has a PO01 Lincoln in a slab and could upload a picture of it, that would be very useful. I can't find an image of a slabbed PO01 Lincoln anywhere.

Quote: FR02 at best I think those hits by the O on the reverse would have prevented it from a straight grade, anyway.

Agree FR-02, but that's a most unusual coin for sure.

There probably aren't any pictures anywhere. PCGS only has 2 PO 1 wheat backs, a 1909 P VDB and a 1915 P

Those are pretty rare then, must be worth a lot of money. I don't have the slightest clue what they would go for. Judging from the population reports lowball Lincoln collecting seems to be a rather niche area which makes sense. It's generally more popular with series that didn't really circulate much not a workhorse one.
