I think I will use the wash hands method for handling circulated coins and just handle by the rim. But what kind of towel do I dry my hands with does it matter probably not since I'm handling by the edge but also probably the same for soap. Though its still worth asking I think.

if a coin slips should you just let it fall or try to palm it with washed hands what would be better and if you have a hard floor or wooden or carpet. Sorry if this got weird.

It really depends on the coins you are handling. If they're circulated, don't worry about it.

Just don't use an acid to wash your hands. Actually almost any soap is OK as long as you rinse it all off.

Get a pair of lint-free cotton gloves.
Then you don't have to worry about soap and towels.

Some people use latex gloves but my hands sweat too much in them.

I find Palmolive is the best soap in this situation . just make sure it's the pink one with 2% lanolin and 6% Sodium Hydroxide . And stay away dehydration palm oil .
Just pulling your chain ; It doesn't matter the kind of soap you use to wash you hands nor does it matter what kind of towel to use to dry them , as long as it's a clean one .
Hold your coins by the edges and you'll be fine .

Doesn't matter especially on circulated coins, they've been touched hundreds is not thousands of time or more before.
