The penny is wedge-shaped and the L looks like it's too close to the rim and does not look struck correctly. Rotation is fine; weight is within tolerance for the age. Diameter is about 0.1 mm small viewing from the obverse west of the coin and 0.1 large viewing from the obverse east. Report this Post to the Staff

JennyCents New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 07/28/2026 4:12 pm Possibly a tapered planchet and the L's in Liberty were usually close to the rims in the earlier 60's do to worn master dies - they weren't updated till 68 I do believe (I may be wrong) Report this Post to the Staff
