I need some advice/opinion on this coin. The date is wore down but the doubling on the feathers, the braid, the neck, chin and face, ect. Looks like they are the same doubling on the 1916/16. I don't believe that Wexler's or any one else has any die markers to match this coin being that the doubling on the date is so dramatic. What do y'all think?
Here are both sides of the coin from the PCGS web site. Details for this coin: Heritage 9/2005:1853, $264,500 - Joseph C. Thomas Collection - Heritage 4/2009:2131, $184,000.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
Not sure what you're asking. You coin is literally just an image of the PCGS coin. You can even see the black fading effect around the rim of the coin PCGS uses.
