My wife uploaded the wrong pictures from my earlier post. Those I think were from PCGS. She's been having a hard time with her PC lately. Here's the correct ones if I can please get some opinions.

to the CFF!

I saw your earlier post and thought you were either messing with us or VERY rich!

The new photos show Machine Doubling, not the Doubled Die Obverse. Machine Doubling looks flat and shelf-like and reduces the size of the device. A Doubled Die shows round full doubling that makes the effected feature wider.

If you look at the images from PCGS, you'll see that the doubling on the feathers is open on the ends and disappears into the fields. Your coin feathers are doubled, but it's closed Machine Doubling. The date doesn't show the large open 6 at the end of the normal 6 either.

I think this is just a normal 1916 Buffalo nickel that's been harshly cleaned. It may be worth dollar or two.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
