Yeah, I've posted a lot of coins I wondered if they were MPL's lately...This one though...?!

Okay, I do believe I finally cherry picked one...having never seen one in person, the eye appeal of this coin is far different...anyways, posting phone photos for color first, then I'll make a second post from my PC with microscope pics and evidence of the die markers.

Closest to the true color I could capture...it is an orangish rose gold kind of color not far from what these pictures show.

Not an expert but looks like it to me has the matte texture and appears to have wide square rims. Researching the diagnostics myself now to see if I notice a marker. seems most markers are die polishing lines. You do realise 1910 proof mintage was only 4,118 coins correct this would indeed be a needle in a haystack if it's an mpl found in the wild.

a good buy either way I would say. I phone won't allow me to upload photos but the main marker for the 1910 is a mark going from the m in unum downwards to 7o'clock or so. grape just weighed in though as I trust his judgement after witnessing first hand his incredible grading skills regarding proofs.

Still sure. Rims aren't sharp enough and don't show enough finning. Rims are sharper then usual, but not nearly as strong as they would be. One look at the reverse and it's obvious it's not a matte proof. There reverse rims are completely flat and not sharp and squared off.

Agree, this is not a matte proof. Grape is correct about the rims.
