That's what it looks like to me anyways. Especially after following the gash on Lincolns nose to the piece that caused it an inch away to the right.

Nice images but it all looks like Post Strike Damage of some sort. Circulation wear, abuse and maybe even some pitting/craters from a caustic substance.

I figured, some of the craters had the shape of and the letters themselves deposited into the coin. That and the letters stamped on the edge I thought I better ask, thanks
